Cookie Policy

Effective date: 09/10/2026

This English translation is provided for convenience. If there is any difference between the two versions, the Turkish version prevails.

This policy explains which cookies are used on https://bydipa.com (ByDipa — Didem Parlakyiğit Art & Design Studio), operated by Didem Parlakyiğit Görücü, why they are used and how you can manage your preferences. Details of the personal data processed through cookies are in our Personal Data Protection Notice.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file saved in your browser when you visit a website. On the next request the website reads it, for example to remember your cart or keep you signed in. Similar technologies such as pixels may be used for the same purposes; in this policy we call all of them “cookies”.

  • First-party cookie: Set through our own domain (https://bydipa.com).

  • Third-party cookie or service: Works through another company’s service (for example Google or Meta) and sends data to that company.

  • Session cookie: Deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookie: Stays in your browser for the stated period.

Which cookies we use, and on what legal ground

Following the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority’s Guide on Cookie Practices, we group cookies into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Needed for the website to work and to provide the service you ask for (cart, sign-in, checkout). They do not depend on your consent; their grounds are the formation and performance of a contract and our legitimate interest (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f). They cannot be switched off.

  • Analytics cookies: Help us measure how the website is used. They run only with your explicit consent.

  • Marketing cookies: Help us measure our ads and show you relevant ads. They run only with your explicit consent.

Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. Until you allow them, the related code is not loaded and these cookies are not set.

    • Purpose: Identifies your browser to measure the results of our Instagram and Facebook ads (for example visiting the website or ordering after seeing an ad) and helps show relevant ads.

    • Duration: 90 days

    • Duration: 90 days

If you are signed in to Instagram or Facebook, Meta may also use additional cookies on its own domains. Those cookies are governed by Meta’s cookie policy.

For how Google and Meta process data, see the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and the Meta Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

Transfers abroad

Data collected by analytics and marketing cookies is sent to Google’s and Meta’s servers abroad (mainly in the United States and European Union countries). These transfers are made in line with Article 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law; details are in our Personal Data Protection Notice. If you do not allow these cookies, this data is not transferred.

How to manage your preferences

  • On our website: In the cookie notice shown on your first visit, you can choose “Accept all”, “Necessary only” or “Manage preferences”. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

  • When you withdraw consent: When you switch off analytics or marketing cookies, the related code is no longer loaded and our website tries to delete those cookies. Data already collected is deleted at the end of the relevant provider’s retention period.

  • In your browser: You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, features such as the cart and sign-in may not work.

  • For Google Analytics: You can disable Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

  • For Meta ads: You can manage your ad settings in the ad preferences section of your Meta account.

Changes

We update this policy when we add a new cookie or service. If we add a new category that needs consent, we will ask for your choice again.
